Visa

Attendees from the US, Australia, and Canada are required to obtain an electronic visa (e-Visa) prior to their arrival in Brazil as of April 10, 2025.

Citizens of other countries should consult the Entry Visas to Brazil chart (access here: https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/assuntos/portal-consular/vistos/qgrv-simples-ing-08apr25.pdf) for the need to obtain a Visit Visa (VIVIS). In cases where VIVIS is required, they must apply for a physical consular visa at a Brazilian Embassy or Consulate.

We strongly recommend that citizens who need a visa apply as soon as possible, as processing times may vary. Should you require any supporting documents from our side (e.g., invitation letter), please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

The eVisa application is exclusively available for American, Canadian, and Australian citizens holding passports of those nationalities. In contrast, the Consular Visa is open to a broader range of nationalities.

Only for American, Canadian and Australian citizens:

The process to obtain the eVisa is fully online and it is completed directly on the VFS Global website. Please be aware of all the information available at the website.

To ensure a smooth entry process, please follow the steps below:

  • Visit the official e-Visa application website: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/.
  • Complete the online application with your personal and travel details.
  • Submit the required documents (e.g., passport copy, photograph, etc.).
  • Pay the visa fee ($ 80.90) and wait for confirmation. The approved eVisa is delivered via email.

Whilst the FAUBAI 2025 organisers will do their best to assist and share information on the visa process, the granting or denying of any individual visa application lies with the Brazilian Government. Every individual is responsible for their own visa application.
