Welcome to the Call for Proposals for FAUBAI 2025 Conference!
With a focus on equitable and sustainable partnerships, FAUBAI 2025 aims to offer a dynamic platform for discussing and exchanging ideas, creating connections and proposing positive changes in the global context of international education.
Educators, practitioners, researchers and leaders from Brazil and all around the world are invited to submit session proposals aligned with 7 sub-themes:
1. Sustainable internationalisation
How do we make sure that international partnerships foster the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
2. Cultural diversity and international cooperation
How to use international partnerships to promote understanding across diverse cultural contexts in higher education.
3. Inclusive and empowering internationalisation
How do we ensure that the internationalization of higher education does not leave no one behind. How can it empower local communities and build more horizontal partnerships.
4. Internationalisation & Global South
Propose new approaches to internationalization suggested by the Global South or by decolonial and post-colonial studies.
5. Student Mobility and Exchange Programs
Discuss strategies for enhancing student mobility programs and exchange initiatives.
6. Technologies and Digitalization
Explore the role of technology and digital platforms in facilitating international collaboration, knowledge exchange and internationalization at home opportunities in higher education.
7. Internationalisation of the formal and informal curriculum
How can international cooperation support the university’s essential function of reaching out to civil society.
Different session formats can be proposed, such as presentations, panel discussions, round tables and interactive sessions.
