VISA
For citizens from countries that have a bilateral agreement with Brazil, there is a possibility that you will not need a visa – depending on the agreement, it may be possible to stay in Brazil for up to 90 days without a visa. The entry stamp granted by the Federal Police is enough. Nonetheless, for other countries, a visa is mandatory. You can check this information in the “Entry to Brazil” document here.
To apply for a visa, foreign citizens must present the following documents:
- Visa Application Form duly completed. Read all instructions on this page carefully (colocar o endereço). Click on the “Vistos” button. Click on the “Start New Application” button at the bottom of the page. At the end of filling, print the delivery receipt and prepare the documentation to present at a Brazilian Consular Post.
- Valid travel document.
- Proof of payment of consular fees.
- International Immunization Certificate – when required.
- And other documents specific to the type of visa requested.
