Monica Salmaso<\/strong> has won prizes for best singer in Brazil (1999, 2012, 2017). Exuding the Brazilian lyrical soul, Salmaso\u2019s music is a place where the folk and urban music meet with Baden Powell, Vin\u00edciusde Moraes, Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Guinga, Paulo C\u00e9sar Pinheiro. Preto Zez\u00e9<\/strong>, former car washer on the streets of Fortaleza, Brazil, is the National President of Central \u00danica das Favelas (CUFA). He is also an entrepreneur; cultural producer; writer and author of \u201cA Selva da Pedra: a Fortaleza Noiada\u201d (2014) and \u201cDas Quadras Para o Mundo\u201d (2019); and consultant for government and private enterprises. Preto Zez\u00e9 is also the CEO and founder of Social Innovation Laboratory (LIS). He is an activist for positive change in favelas, hoping to transform stigma into charisma, and challenges into opportunities. Graduated in Languages from UFMG, she holds a master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA), with a postdoctoral degree in comparative literature from Columbia University (USA) and the UFSC.
