Last Tuesday (18), the FAUBAI board of directors attended workshops regarding the quality of internationalization provided by CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education) along with the British Council, during the seminar “Quality Guarantee in Internationalization”. The activities were held at the headquarters of CAPES in Brasília, and amongst those present there were members of many Brazilian higher education institutions which participate in the Institutional Program of Internationalization (PrInt) and also British institutions in search of partners in Brazil, as well as other organizations interested in internationalization efforts. FAUBAI was represented in the seminar by its president, Maria Leonor Alves Maia, and by its vice-president, Eliane Segati Rios Registro.
During the workshops, discussions focused on topics such as guaranteeing the quality of higher education, the development of opening calls, evaluation methods and operationalization for strategic plans of internationalization. Moreover, information was released regarding the call for the program “Universidades para o Mundo”, launched by the British Council.
